Trading Block: Tyson Chandler


Tyson Chandler is on the trading block. After trading away star point guard Eric Bledsoe, Phoenix showed that it is willing to trade away any veteran on their team if there is a younger player waiting to develop at their position or role. Chandler, as a center and defensive anchor, shares minutes at that role with Alex Len, Dragan Bender, Alan Williams, and even Marquese Chriss.

Chandler should absolutely be turned into someone or something usable in the future. Chandler is a former champion, defensive player of the year, and all-defensive team member for multiple seasons. Though 36, Chandler is still effective as a starter with a minutes restriction – shooting 60% from the field and averaging 9.6 rebounds in 25.4 minutes per game. Here are some trades for Chandler:
